• What do I have to do to become a student? You need to have a great motivation to dedicate your whole Summer to intensive studies. You will be studying everyday for at least 2 hours (if you have some knowledge already). From our experience - it takes around 4 hours per day, everyday.

This year we don't have test tasks, but we ask you to write motivational letter in the submitting form.

• How much time commitment does the course require?
  The course will begin on JULY (dates may change slightly) and will last for two months.
  During the first month there will be two Q&A sessions per week (all after 6pm on work days) + homework following each lecture + self-studying.
  During the second month you will be working on a practical project, which means daily check-ins with your team online and a few hours of independent work on the project daily.
  Depending on your current level, the course may take from 2 to 8 hours of work per day.

• Are there any age requirements?
  No. We are only interested in your knowledge, adequacy, the desire to learn, and discipline.

• Am I expected to attend all lectures and complete all homework assignments?
  Yes.

• Do I need to know English?

• Do I need to have my own laptop?
  Yes.

• Can I be expelled from the course?
  Yes. This course is delivered by a group of volunteer developers who are only willing to teach highly motivated students. If you are missing lectures or your dog has been eating too many of your homework assignments, you will be expelled.

• I just want to get a job in IT, will this course give me that?
  No. We want to create a Ruby community of people interested in learning and self-development. If that is not your goal and you are only interested in the salary that IT industry offers - this course is not for you.

• Can I take this course remotely?
  Yes.

• Who are the lecturers?
  We are working on it.

• How do I receive the test assignment?
  We don't have test assignments this year. Show your motivation in the motivational letter ;) Register to the course here
